Valuable asset - not!

Sir - After following with bated breath the on-going saga of the Twin Rivers Parish Council at Whitgift they have at last, after spending ratepayers' money, wasted well over a thousand pounds. They have gained a piece of land, fenced it off with no public access and now have the cheek to offer people who live in Whitgift the chance to rent it at £50 per year. It is not big enough for a pony or even a goat to graze on.

The land is not even big enough to get a bale of hay from.

Well done, Twin Rivers Parish Council, you have really excelled yourselves this time. What a valuable asset to our village!
