Sir - I have lived in and around Goole for 30 years, having moved from the south. I am a 'charity shopaholic' and I just wanted to say that I've been in so many charity shops that I have lost count. Some seem to be an extension of Airmyn tip, while others are like any other retail shop.

But for style and fantastic window displays you would have to go a long way to find a shop that compares to the Autism Shop in Wesley Square. It is always clean and bright and it smells nice in there.

The staff are brilliant, always there to lend a hand, and the goods on offer are displayed in a way that would put some of our larger shops to shame. The clothes in particular often look as though they've just come from a 'latest fashion' magazine. Long may they reign. I think the full name is the Thorne House Autism Trust - praise where praise is due, I say.
