Fly tippers are small minded
Sir - Whilst walking my dog on the morning of November 28 I came across two television sets and numerous empty beer cans which had just been dumped in on of the dykes surrounding Reedness.
I find this behaviour of fly-tipping to be an unacceptable and anti-social action. The people who do this have, in my thoughts, very small minds and do not care about the environment, wildlife or their surrounding area.
The people who dumped the items will have passed near Airmyn and Belton tips. Was it too much hassle for them to stop off at one of these places and dispose of the rubbish correctly?
The mess they've left will have to be paid for by East Riding of Yorkshire Council.
Reedness is a very popular and beautiful village, we do not wish for fly-tipping to ruin our surroundings.
