Transport Supervisor

The ICI operation, managed within TDG Contract Logistics, is one of the largest and most complex distribution
operations within the company. It is the type of business that requires dedicated, professional and quality staff.
We are currently seeking to recruit an ambitious and
self-motivated individual who will undertake the exciting role of Transport Supervisor based at Goole.
The operation is 24 hours, 5 days a week and includes
distribution, trunking and on-site shunting.
Knowledge, experience and skills needed:
l Excellent communication
l Ability to interpret and manage KPI's
l Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
l Ability to motivate and manage a team
l Tenacity to ensure continuous improvement
l Advanced knowledge of the Transport Industry
l An appreciation of and ability to enhance the Health and
Safety standards at work
Experience of working in a demanding transport
environment is essential along with a positive and flexible approach. A minimum of 2 years supervisory experience is required with evidence of strong man-management skills.
