Back to the sixties

Published on 23rd November 2006 in Ents

An acoustic duo are set to bring the sounds of the sixties to Hatfield and Thorne in the next two weeks.

Singer/guitarist Richard Farthing and singer/harmonica player John McKevitt will play the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Beatles, Chuck Berry and Van Morrison at the Blue Bell (Hatfield) on Thursday, November 30, and The Harlequin (Thorne) on Friday December 8.

The duo do their best to play requests - "I know over 300 songs so we can generally please the customers," Richard told the Goole Times.

Both gigs begin at 8.30pm and admission is free.
