Rolling back the years

Published on 21st August 2008 in Ents

Audiences are invited to roll back the years and bring back the memories when Roll out the Barrel returns to Hull New Theatre on Monday, September, 8.

This uplifting show of non-stop golden oldies features more than 65 old-time favourites, ranging from Cockney and wartime sing-a-longs to the songs of one of the greatest duos, Flanagan and Allen. Classics such as 'Que Sera Sera', 'White Cliffs of Dover', 'I'm in the Mood for Love', 'Daisy, Daisy', 'We'll Meet Again', 'I've Got A Lovely Bunch of Coconuts' and 'Leaning On A Lamp Post' are guaranteed to have audiences singing along from start to finish.

Roll Out The Barrel has been entertaining audiences for seven years and was devised by husband and wife team Terry Bradford and Sussie Arvesen - who both star in the show. Between them they have a wealth of stage experience and are successful song writers/ producers.

The show promises to be an unforgettable trip down memory lane and audiences are advised to book early to avoid disappointment.

Tickets for Roll Out The Barrel are priced at £10 and can be purchased from the Hull City Council Booking Office under the Hull City Hall, Carr Lane, Hull or by using the web site www.hullcc.gov.uk/hullnewtheatre. Alternatively, call the booking and information line on 01482 226655.
