Bus rally is all set for another success

Hold on tight for the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum's biggest event of the year.

The annual Sandtoft Gathering is returning this weekend to the museum which is home to the largest collection of historic trolleybuses in the world.

On Sunday, July 27 visitors will be able to enjoy a feast of attractions including live music, a funfair, a transport bazaar, plus a number of vintage cars, motorcycles, buses and commercial vehicles will be visiting the museum.

All the museum's usual attractions, which include a trolleybus-driving simulator, children's play area, digital theatre and vintage bicycle collection, will also be available on Saturday and Sunday and visitors can enjoy unlimited trolleybus rides.

Food and refreshments will also be available over the weekend including a real ale beer tent, open late on Saturday and all day Sunday.

The museum is open from 11am to 10pm on Saturday for last orders at the bar.
