Autumn and winter brochure launch at New Theatre
Hull New Theatre is launching a new autumn/winter 2008/9 brochure following on from last year's varied programme.
Over the past two years the theatre has witnessed great success, with some of the country's biggest theatre producers clamouring to book their seats in the venue.
The Hull New Theatre has played host to some of the biggest touring shows from prestigious companies such as Stage Entertainment (High School Musical), Theatre Royal Bath Productions (Single Spies), Bill Kenwright (Joseph), Qdos Entertainment (Jack and the Beanstalk with Cannon and Ball) and Live Nation UK Theatrical (Cats).
The forthcoming season will be just as diverse as previous with high quality musicals, dramas and comedies on the bill.
Theatre Manager Michelle Lister said: "We have achieved an excellent level of quality shows in recent seasons and this has been reflected in the vast numbers of people who have attended the theatre.
"We aim to continue this trend by attracting more and more first class shows and audiences to 'live' theatre in the Autumn and Winter season."
Highlights in next seasons schedule include a spectacularly staged production of the multi award winning Disney musical 'Beauty and the Beast' which will run from September 17 to 27.
The musical is back by popular demand following its hugely popular stint in 2005, it is one of the most enchantingly romantic love stories ever to be told. This year's pantomime, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, will be running from December 11 through to January 11 and will feature a star studded cast including The Grumbleweeds and Vicki Michelle. This season comedy fans will also be catered for when 'Allo Allo' arrives at the theatre from October 13 to 18. For more information visit the theatres website at www.hullcc.gov.uk/hullnewtheatre
