One-off special on the Underground
Worse for Wear will be holding a one off special at the Goods Office on May 22.
The night will be headlined by Underground Heroes, who recently performed on BBC Three's Lily Allen and Friends, where they performed their soon to be released debut single. They like playing gritty, grimey punk in dirty venues singing about their chavvy mates and nights out. Underground Heroes are not too dissimilar from their own heroes and influences, such as The Clash, The Jam and The Specials.
They will be joined by the Berettas and The Element making it potentially Goole's biggest gig yet.The bands will again be intermingled with a fine set of music, both past and present, from DJ Matty Whittaker.
Tickets are £3.50 in advance or it's £5 on the door, subject to availability. However, this gig is almost certainly going to be ticket only (no admission without a ticket) as they are likely to sell out. Please contact hhh Promotions via email at hhh.records@googlemail.com or myspace www.myspace.com/hhh_records to reserve a ticket.
Once all tickets have been sold hhh will deliver the tickets direct to your door, or suitable place of your choosing, on a weekend prior to the gig. Tickets are likely to sell out fast, so get in touch quickly to avoid disappointment.
