Top Elvis tribute artist Mark Summers will return to the town he studied in to perform for the first time.
Mark has spent the last three years touring the country and impersonating the King, and is one of only three tributes to be endorsed by the official Elvis Presley fan club.
Originally from Snaith, the former Goole College student will perform at the Vikings hotel in Goole on February 15. The show will be covered by Viking FM.
Explaining why he decided to play Goole, Mark said: "I have a lot of fans here. I've wanted to appear in Goole for the past two years but was tied up in concerts.
"I'm going to give it everything and show the people of Goole what Elvis was all about and the real Mark Summers." Mark is now under new management and has plans to appear on TV and radio, and tour Sweden, Zambia and Japan, among others. He has just launched a new website, www.elvis-tributes.co.uk
The Goole performance will begin at 8pm on Friday, February 15, at the Vikings, with a Valentines's disco to follow the show. Tickets are £6 on the door or to book in advance, call 01384 639977.
The Goole Times/Selby Post has one pair of tickets and a signed album to give away, to be collected on the door.
