Four nights of live music
A pub in Snaith is set to rock around the Christmas holidays.
The Bell and Crown will host four nights of free music, courtesy of strangerealitymusic. They are:
Saturday December 22 - Syncrownized and Captain Backfire:
One of the all-time favourite bands at the Bell and Crown, Syncrownized kick off the holiday season festivities with a set of energetic funk/blues/rock comprising of original tunes and eminently danceable covers.
The entertaining York-based trio have been playing the venue for the best part of a decade. They are supported by Bell and Crown debutants Captain Backfire, an intensely funky and eminently danceable six-piece.

Sunday December 23 - The Christmas Acoustic Night:
A special festive edition of the popular Acoustic Night. There are no featured artists for the show - it's all open-mic, and everybody is welcome to go along and play a few tunes.
You'll see some of the region's best performers, playing originals, covers, and even some Christmas songs.
To play, sign up at the sound desk from 7pm on the night.

Friday December 28 - The James Warner Prophecies and In Fear Of Olive:
One of the best bands ever to play the Bell and Crown, the massively popular James Warner Prophecies return to help celebrate Christmas in Snaith with a brand new album, Set The World On Fire.
Effortlessly combining rock, folk, funk, punk and metal, the Derby-based quartet add flutes, violins, wind synths and mandolins to the more conventional drums, bass, guitars and keys line-up.
Support comes from the talented acoustic quartet In Fear Of Olive, who have appeared at two of the recent Acoustic Nights and wowed the audience with their superb songwriting and harmony.

Lacey, who has recently returned to Yorkshire after a spell of living and vigorously gigging in London, is currently putting the finishing touches to his new album 'Lost In This Beautiful World', which is scheduled for release in early 2008.
