Fish on offer

Published on 11th October 2007 in Ents

Fish fans are being offered the chance to win a free dinner every week for a year.

The Triton Inn, in Brantingham, near South Cave, is celebrating Seafood Week by entering every visitor into a prize draw.

Up for grabs are a free fish dinner every week for a year, a meal for two at Triton's new Poseidon's Restaurant and a whole side of fresh salmon.

The draw will be made at 8pm next Monday.

"This area is steeped in fishing history and many of our customers prefer fresh fish to steaks," said the pub's manageress, Dawn Rusling. "A few weeks ago we started a weekly promotion called Fish Tuesday, where we offer many exotic species of fish and sea food, so we decided to celebrate National Seafood Week in style with this draw, to encourage more people to try different fish types."

The Triton Inn has been a pub since at least 1754. It became the Triton in the 1870s and is named after a sea god in Greek mythology.

The Triton Inn can be contacted on 01482 667261 and also has a website - www.thetritoninn.com
