The Goods Office presents an evening of acoustic music tomorrow night, with performances from local musicians and an open mic for those who wish to come along and perform a few songs.
The bar's new open mic night will continue the Goods Office's run of live music, with acoustic sets from local musicians Pete Donnelly, Tom Donnelly and Michael Pheasant, and the event will also be an open mic event for anyone who fancies getting up and playing a few songs.
The organisers of the event are calling out to any musicians, singers, songwriters etc. to come along on the night and play a short set.
Musician and event organiser Pete Donelly said: "The event will provide a really relaxed atmosphere where people can come along and enjoy some good music and maybe even play some songs themselves."
The bar's landlord is hoping that the event will build on last month's acoustic night at The Goods Office, which showcased some really great talent.
He also hopes that local residents will be willing to try out the event as an alternative to their average night out.
The event is free and will take place in The Goods Office on Stanhope Street from 8pm on Friday August 10.
