Win tickets to see Omid Djalili in York

Published on 8th February 2007 in Ents

A British-Iranian comedian and actor who has wowed the Edinburgh Festival, sold out the London Palladium and earned a part in the next installment of Pirates of the Caribbean is in York this month.

Omid Djalili will perform his comedy show No Agenda at York Grand Opera House on Tuesday, February 20, at 8 pm.

Described as exuding a force field of charisma, he has been acclaimed by the likes of The Guardian, who said: "If we dropped Omid Djalilis all over the West instead of bombs across the Middle East, the world would be a far happier place."

The Goole Times/Selby Post has teamed up with York Grand Opera House and has one pair of tickets to give away.

Simply answer the question below and send the answer, with your name, address and daytime contact number to: Omid Djalili Competition, Goole Times, 102 Boothferry Road, Goole, DN14 6AE or roxy.winterborne@gooletimes.co.uk by 12 noon on Wednesday February 14.
